Thanksgiving morning

It is now Thanksgiving morning and today is going to be a good day.

Allen had surgery on his back yesterday and is recovering from that. That might be his last surgery he will need at Parkland. Please pray for healing and that he will keep his lungs clear.

Aaron got to get out of his bed for a few minutes yesterday and sit up in a chair for about 15 minutes. Wore him out, but it was a big step.

Michael got his tube taken out of his nose and spent several hours in the Troy Aikman "theater" gameroom yesterday. He might actually get some liquid food today! How is that for a Thanksgiving meal?

Megan is making big strides and amazing her doctors. She had an MRI yesterday that confirmed they had already diagnosed everything properly. Praise God. She also had the tubes removed from her mouth. That was a huge step. She is speaking some words, but difficult because of her dry mouth. She is moving all of her limbs. They also did surgery on her right arm and set the break. We are so thankful for her improvements!

Have a good thanksgiving day,
Jeff, DDee and the kids
