Two months after the accident, Allen went to be with his Lord this morning. I am sure he is rejoicing with Patsy and many friends and family at this time. We will miss both Allen and Memaw greatly. What a great example they were to not only their family, but to friends and strangers alike. We love you.

It's with saddened hearts that we give this news. Dad passed away this morning a little before 10:00. His heart rate and blood pressure dropped very low yesterday and they were not sure what caused that. He had been experiencing a lot of confusion and restlessness for the last week that seemed to increase each day. They tested his blood gases and sodium levels and they were fine. They did another CT scan to see if anything was showing up there and it wasn't. We thought this was just another one of those bumps in the road that he would overcome but it wasn't. This morning one of the men in our church went to the hospital to relieve Bev who had stayed with Dad all night. Apparently Dad's heart rate and blood pressure dropped very low again and by the time the nurses got to the room he had no pulse. We know that God is in control of everything and we rejoice in the fact that we know that Dad is now in Heaven with his Lord and Saviour. There have been so many of you who have viewed this Carepage and many who have left messages. We are grateful to each of you for your prayers and encouragement. One thing Dad would want to come from all of this is know that each of you have a saving knowledge of his Lord and Saviour.
